Depends why you wear the medal and what it represents. If by wearing the medal you are denying Jesus Christ as the son of God and your Saviour or going against the fundamental beliefs of the Catholic Church then yes it is. If you wear it because its pretty or confirms your faith in Jesus Christ then no. Am not familiar with the Rastafarian religion so can't pass any judgement on it or the medal.

I am also a Christian with many Rastafarian beleifs. Rastafari is a christian-based religion and the Lion Of Judah actually represents the coming of god during the end of the world. I can't remember which passage it is, but if you look it up in Revelations it says that God comes in the form of the Conquering Lion to take all beleivers to Mt. Zion (Heaven). The only real difference I ever saw in Christianity & Rastafari is that most Christians only believe Jesus was the only human form of God to walk the earth, when Rastas believe that the same thing happened in the form of Emperor Haile Salassie I of Ethiopia, which kind of makes sense. If God can come to earth once in the form of his son Jesus, and God is all powerful, why can't he come to earth again in the form of another human? Moses was given god-like powers when he parted the Red Sea, right? You should wear the Lion Of Judah with pride. It is a symbol of God. No matter which God you believe in, as long as its from the Bible.

Symbols only have power if you believe in what they stand for. If you wear the pendant just because you like the look of it, I don't think you're doing any harm, but other Catholics may take offence so I would avoid wearing it if you were going to a Catholic gathering or to Church.

but i don't nderstand, how can you still claim to be catholic if you're more into the rastafarian religion - you're one or the other?! if you['re more inthe the rahsta then go for it if it's bringing you closer to God, however why claim to be what you're not? i'm catholic so i'm not saying with malice. it'sokay to give up one denomination if the other is leading you on the Path of God - IMO it doesn't matter the scenery along the way - as long as the path/road is the same.
God bless!

i think all religions in this international originated from a similar source. using non availability of technologies and as a results of private interest or greed interior the previous, the authentic message/coaching of this faith have been given distorted. some people who initially held severe place for this sole faith i.e. chief clergymen etc creates their very own faith sects and appointed themselves as God's representative which ultimately evolve into extremely some religions of the international. yet otherwise of staring at it may additionally be that extremely some the followers of the Messengers of God turns into so inspired or overwhelmed that they pray to those Messengers rather of the God which the Messenger pontificate to human sort to obey.

So long as you wear it in full knowledge of what it symbolizes, and in respect of what it symbolizes, it doesn't matter if you are a different religion or not.

It doesn't bother me that cowans wear pentacles, but to see it adorned as costume jewelry for Halloween is flat out disrespectful.

no it just a pendant. it just like wearing a cross. I don't wear a cross i wear a pentacle (tip up) but i am pagan. But i grew up roman caltholic.

for me personally i never liked the cross. I just think it was cruel for pinning someone like to a cross and then stabbing them in the gut to make them bleed it just a total turn off to me.

Nah, they probably won't know that you're into Ratsafarianism, maybe they'll just think you're wearing it for fun or because it looks beautiful
