Use color for coloring and henna for conditioning. Thats the best way. Henna will arrest further graying and the final look will be consistent. If you dont like red, add coffee/Tea for brown and dry Amla for black with henna.

You can use heena, but there are some dyes made especially for grey hair which might work better. The rough answer is that the grey hair is not going away so you can try the heena and if that doesnt work you try something else and you can keep trying things for as long you want.

if you go for heena,it will give your hair reddish colour which may not suit you.Colouring is good but again chemicals may damage your hair, its better to use home remedy:
Grind 1 tablespoon each, pulp of amla and limejuice. Massage this into the hair before going to bed wash it next morning or soak shredded ginger in honey and eat a spoon every morning.

When I 1st began having grey hairs, I would get my hair highlighted. When that didn't work anymore, I began getting my hair dyed. I used to dye it myself but developed sores all over my head after awhile.
When I did dye my own hair, it seemed that everything I tried was too dark & it didn't look natural. I am a medium brunette & even light brunette didn't work. Forget about anything with "ash" in it; it just gives your hair a greenish tint.
A hairdresser told me to buy "light beige golden blond" and it was perfect! She said to just make sure that beige was in the name of the gold color.
So good luck with whatever you do.
PS: I asked my hairdresser when did women usually make the decision to stop dying & she told me it was when the gray was over 50%.

Henna improves your hair texture but u have to be very regular with it . Colouring also improves your texture but u have to use a lot of conditioners . I think colouring is in also. U will not like henna colour after some time. But its ur choice.

I have been a redhead for 58 yrs. I like my white, I earned every single white hair, and I am far from done.
To deny your age, is to deny your experience.
We are who we are, if We cannot accept this, how can we expect the world to?
