You have to understand what they are going through by being in the military -especially if they have been on the battlefield. Do a search on the internet for soldier stories to understand what they have been through.

It depends upon what you want in a man. The military teaches man strict discipline. If they go to battle, they will see things that no one should ever have to face. This really affects them emotionally. Add in the fact that they don't socialize with the opposite sex for months or years at a time...

The main thing is with anyone, get to know them for awhile before you make any commitments of a relationship with them.

What are any men from 18 to 25 good for?

I'd be more afraid of the psychological conditioning, not only in the U.S. military but in any military.

Of course not! My dad's in the military and he's not like that. I was just at a retirement party for him a month ago and therer were tons of military men there. Thats stupid, they were all extremely nice, polite, and funny. Thats a stupid stereotype and very untrue.

For Erin who answered your question...it's not like they are going to go around and grope people when their families are there so she is stupid to think that she would have saw this going on.

It's very possible and likely that they may mess around when they are away and you aren't around to catch them...I know quite a few military men and they have all done it, but seeing them now, you would never guess....Kind of like Erin's dad and his buddies.

Hard to say!Because they just doing thing base on orders.Sometime require them to keep secreet or even cover up.You need to understand this.My opinion says they just tools.Loyality and fulfill their duties for their country are most important for them above anything else.
