Parents- teach their kid's to say that they didn't get as much as their friends did... Jesus taught- that the children should ask, "They didn't get as much as I did they should have more." True?

I don't teach my children to ask that question as to why they didn't get more. I teach them to be thankful for what they get and while it may not be as much as some its a whole lot more than others and to remember that all good things come from God.

"suffer" is an old English word meaning "allow". Jesus said (King James Version) "Suffer the little children to come unto me." which translated today would be "allow the little children to come unto me." "For such is the Kingdom of God." He went on to say. As far as the rest of your question, Damage Control, it is not logical that all parents teach their children the same exact thing. We of course live in a diverse culture and who knows what parents teach their children. I have never heard of any follower of Jesus teaching their children to covet. Have you? Or is it something you just made up. Have you, personally, Damage Control ever heard a follower of Jesus teaching his or her children specifically to say "They didn't get as much as their friends did"?

unfortunately now a days people are teaching their children to be materaliztic and take all they can get instead of sharing and loving wanting others to be first/have more, etc.
