I just got a kittie and I think she is scared of the dark. Is this normal?

I never heard of a cat being scared of the dark, she is mostlikely scared because she is in a new home, away from mom or her brothers and sisters. How old is she? She should be fine after a few days in her new home.

Kitty is not scared of the dark, kitty is scared of her new surroundings, the smells, the noises and the new people. You need to make allowances for her transition, don't put extra stresses on her. Do what you think is best and kitty will come around.
