When you use a flour mixture to coat meat for a dinner, is it safe to save the leftover flour and use it again later?

No, Flour that comes in contact with raw meat must be thrown out. You risk ecoli

well yes, you can use the mixture at any time in the future because you are going to apply heat to it which kills the bacteria(s). Don't make a lot of batter, you really shouldn't be making so much batter or flour coating that you could consider saving the rest. If it is just a touch leftover and you can't stand to get rid of it, distribute the leftover amongst the pots, a little here a little there. Through it in something that it'll make no difference in like the cornbread batter or whatever.

I personally wouldn't recommend it because of cross contamination of the raw meat but do what you feel is comfortable.

It is NOT safe to use again if it in ANY way has touched raw meat.
