Yes, but getting to the point when the Lord comes back will be anything but quiet for the very reason that Satan and his minions are ratcheting up their battle as well. The issue isn't how bad things will get before Christ returns, but whether or not we keep our focus on Him. Check out the first link below for an article about the end times.
