Follow up to my other question?

Question

so for more info, look at my last question. Summed up, I am a nice guy, average looking, but am really shy and don't like going out. I am a geek and like video games, board games, anime, ect. so I asked why do I get passed up? now that being said i was told to find girls who have the same interests and such. well where would you find them? if they are social recluses and like to stay home, where would one find girls like that? things like personals don't work you never have anyone write you, so any ideas? OK, I haven't read your last question yet. But I can tell you this, you will not meet anyone if you don't leave your house. Also, I think the odds of you meeting a girl with the same interests as you are very slim indeed. I mean, there are a FEW girls that go for video games and anime, but not nearly as many as there are guys into the same things. Also, you will find them to be tom-boyish in many cases. Simply put, recluses do not have much hope for meeting anyone. Online interaction is very much inferior to direct communication, and it is therefore no substitute. Also, you typically have to be very desirable and in a well-populated city to succeed in online dating.

OK, to solve your problem, you must get out of the house. Join a club or volunteer for something regularly and you should be able to meet plenty of people. I also recommend that you take up some other more popular hobbies to help you relate better to women. You might want to check out some of the sites I put in the sources section too. U really should find girls who have the same intrests as you so, maybe look for them at the places u like to go to. Then again some girls that have those intrests, like me, also have different intrests too, so maybe try to get to know girls before u can decide what they are intrested in, or ask them.then gain, some girls like that, they really want a relationship, but r too shy to try to get to no anyone cause they think they will get rejected so, try to be nice to someone who goes to the mall alone, or anywhere alone. Or even just try to find girls that do to the same places that u like. I can sometimes, actually quite frequently be like that but i have a job. so, maybe try a gilr that keeps her voice down anad talks quite.

having the same interests is important but i think more important is liking the personality. if you don't like the personality you wouldn't care to like them. do you know what kind of personality you like? where to look for gals...ummm, in any social situation. don't limit your options. joining a sport or a club or going to church, ppl meet others easily in these situations. continue to be yourself....you sound like someone who would get fetched up soon, with a little patience.
