I think that I must answer this question every couple of months on Answers. Olive oil is cheaper, but it is not the best choice. Much better are regular hot oil treatment. Use Alberto VO5 or Queen Helene Cholesterol Brand Hot Oil Treatments. The first one is a bit more expensive, but it is the one that I prefer, although the second one isn't bad at all. Wet your hair thoroughly. Heat up oil in a cup, in the tube, but don't open the tube; let it heat up to three minutes in the hottest water possible. Open the tube and put it all through your hair, concentrating on the ends; let it soak in for at least three minutes. Rinse with water. Shampoo twice, and condition. Style as usual. Do this at least two to three times a week. I would also lay off blow drying or blow dry on special occasions only for a while. Additionally, and if you can afford it, once per week, use an intensive protein treatment in your hair. Framesi makes an excellent new one; also Emergencee is from Nexxus; it is very good too. They are pricey; they are worth their weight in gold. Get some regular trims also. In the future, make sure to hold the blow dryer at least twelve inches from your hair. Also, make sure to towel dry your hair thoroughly before you apply your styling products. Also, NEVER, and I mean EVER blow dry the hair until it is bone dry; only take it to 70 percent; that truly is the point where the damage takes place. Happy Hair Days!

I have used Olive Manon Virgin Oil since young and it is indeed very effective for promoting hair growth and moisturing skin. I was introduced to it by my mum who's also an avid user. Never really had hair and skin quite dry when I was young, and I do see the difference now after years of using it. The method I was introduced to is called an Oil Pack. You'll have to massage the oil onto the skin and then keep it under wraps with a hot towel for about half an hour before showering. After shower and before sleep, apply gently on the affected area.
You may want to try their FREE PURE OLIVE OIL SAMPLES to see if it works for you lor...

Don't shampoo daily! If you're going to dye your hair go darker, not lighter. Get trims every two months or so!
I used to have fried hair. I've tried a billion salon quality shampoos, but I'm now using Sunsilk in the pink bottle and this Pantene hair mask that cost about $6 and came in a HUGE container, and my hair is SUPER soft and shiny. I get compliments all the time about how healthy my hair looks.

I use an olive oil deep conditioner by Regis twice a week and it makes my hair really soft and manageable. PLEASE don't use the generic stuff they sell at Wal-Mart like that one person said, like Pantene and whatnot. Yes, it will make your hair soft, but that's because it coats your hair in WAX...yuck. Use higher quality products that you find in salons and deep condition twice a week.
How I do it is I wash my hair, towel dry, and coat my hair in the deep conditioner. Then I heat a damp towel (in the microwave is ok but don't leave it in there for too long), wrap it around your head and then wrap a dry towel around that. Leave it on until the damp towel is totally cooled off. You can't leave it on for too long, it won't do anything bad. Sound good?
Just don't use that Pantene crap. Ew.
