Why do I get goose bumps when I sing certain types of slow music? If I'm singing camp or fast songs (like Twinkle Twinkle Little star) I don't, but if I sing slow songs like the national anthem or songs I make up, I get them. Why is this?

Probably because the faster songs give off a more cheery vibe and you simply go along with it. The slower songs like the national anthem can sometimes carry a more emotional undertone and if it's well performed it is even more likely to give you chills. It's probably just a little bit of emotion trying to creep up because of a killer song. I get them mostly during movies.

I don't know what the physiological reasons behind it is though. Sorry.
