Absolutely!
It's high in fiber, and has some calcium. More importantly, it has lauric acid, which has shown to have bacterial and anti -viral properties.
It's also contains medium chain triglycerides, which is fat, but it is immediately converted into energy as opposed to fat.
All my birds get a bit of it every day in a special fresh-made-daily veggie mix I purchase at a Bird Store nearby.
So yes, go ahead and feed fresh coconut. If you want to give them the dried, or dessicated coconut, that's fine too, just make sure it has no sugar in it.

The best thing you can do for your birds is to offer them as wide a variety of different types of food as you can:
as many different kinds of vegetables as you can, different fruits in season, cooked beans,sprouts, wheat grass, cereal, rice, quinoa, pasta, eggs, a little good seed, nuts, and a bit of chicken.
The wider variety of food you offer them, the closer you are getting to their wild intended diet, which has been estimated to consist of 200 to 300 different items.

I gave my parrot a coconut once and he just ignored it. not 1 bite

It's suet and the thing's made for wild birds. None of my three caiques would touch a suet cake and I put them in my bird feeders outside all the time.

Yes its fine for them to eat them, in fact Kaytee brand offers treats that are coconut and raspberry to sprinkle in their food, one of my birds goes crazy for it. So to answer your question, yes its fine.

I don't think so even peanuts are not all that good for them because of their oil content.
