if sum1 i claims to be a good perosn and religious then dey will not crticise oda ppl's religion, cuz being relgious is about peace, tolerant and respecting eachtother, or are they just dummy religious ppl who just use a excuse to say der religious but dnt like odas, i seen lot of critism of Islam and it dissopoints me to see so many, uneducated, illiterate, ignorant people who clain they r good christians and good people and yet dont understand Islam , and withtout knowing the facts they jump to conclusions, i think its way and excuse for racists who hate muslims to take advantage of the nagataviry Islam recieves, Islam is a peacful relgion, it never spread by sword, its spread by people willing to convert, and wisdom, there is mispreciption of some aspects of Islam, Islam promotes peace, never violence, it only fights in self defense, look how many muslims have died over the century in al ova world yet people yet ppl say why muslims fight, gosh such hypocrtcies involved here,

I read some comments here saying Islam kills people who aint Muslims and dont belive, well again you people misunderstan, the media and few people who twists things make u belive that and they want to belive it demseles, well let me tell u its utter bullocks, Islam says kll those who attack u first cuz if dey attack u it will be cuz dey r non belivers and dnt like u for what u do and worship, Islam does not say kill infideles, it says leave people to thier own religions, but Muslims are attacked then attack back to previal like any faiths, noway Islam says kill anyone innocent , even if der non-belivers, ppl have to understan properly, please dnt listen to anyone, try to learn research, Islam is not violent , belive me, its a very peaceful religion, it says u wll go heaven if u do good deeds and if u kill some1 who attacks u for ur faith and those ppl will be non belivers, Islam respects other relgions, and noway it ays kill christians, jews or oda religions, it says defend urself.

I agree with you! But I was reading some of the quran, I really don't get why you should fight someone back even for self-defence! It's really hard to get across to people when they only believe what the media says

Because they often believe what religious leaders tell them instead of investigating truth on their own. Sadly, some of the word by mouth beliefs spread about many religions come from the early 1900s. It takes a lot of effort to learn for yourself. Also my observation is that many Islamic people in the US tend to stay in their own tight communities, so the opportunities for friendships do not always exist. Although the US is supposed to be a melting pot, crossing the language and cultural divide with Islamic beliefs is more difficult.

Americans will find it had to believe that 9-11-2001 was an act of self-defense. Actions define a religion more than the words written about it or by its founders. Because of the facts that all peoples have lost followers in the name of their belief, it is illogical to assume that your religion is alone. As I was told, martyrs are everywhere.

The media has a huge effect on people really.. unfortunately everyone believes the media and believe that we are savages.. people please remember that we was the most advanced nation while Europe was living in its dark ages.. Remember how many scientists the Church has killed while Muslims were encouraging science and art.. PLEASE TRY TO READ ABOUT ISLAM BEFORE YOU SAY IT IS A BAD OR GOOD RELIGION.

The only point I agree with is that the US has no business in Iraq and that it was a mistake to begin with. Islam, is a false religion as is Christianity.

Salam Alykom Brother,
Unfortunatly, there is so much hate and ignorance that it is easier for people to just assume that the lies they have seen on TV and other places are true. They fail to realize that those of us that practice true Islam are peaceful and do not agree with the psycho terrorists.

Allah or Jesus?
By Rick Mathes
Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths who explained their belief systems. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.
The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn I directed my question to the Imam and asked: Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"
There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation he replied, "Non-believers!"
I responded, So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to heaven. Is that correct? The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, Yes.
I then stated, Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Pat Robertson or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to heaven! The Imam was speechless.
I continued, I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question-would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and wants you to be with me? You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.
Chuck Colson once told me something that has sustained me these 20 years of prison ministry. He said to me, Rick, remember that the truth will prevail. And it will!

We know facts and truth. And the truth is they work through kidnapping (did that Spanish Photographer for AP get released yet? Did the two Israllie soliders get released yet?), car bombings, restaraunt bombings, militia men and they kill everything indiscrimantely and there is little condemnation from their own about their own.
I felt refreshed to see HAMAS quickly come out against the kidnapping of the AP photographer.
It made me feel better about Hamas!
If you look on these pages you will find many Christians who are applaulled and repettant over the crusades, over the actions of extremists in their own religions over Bush and the war
But we don't ANY islamics putting Osama in his place!
I'd like to see some Islamics start talking about the EVILs of their own people for a bit.
Come out of the Closet and TELL US what you think of Osama bin Laden!
Tell us what you think of al Queda
Tell us what you think of Hamas
Tell us what you think about the kidnapping of that AP reporter!
BE specific, not general! Mention Osama by name and tell us what you think of him and if he's really representative of Islam! He likes to think he's Islam's saviour. I honestly think Osama expects to be made Caliph!
I see Islamics on a daily basis, dressed up in their finest, some with veils, some without. No one has any problems with them and they don't have any problems with anyone else.
The come in their Lexus or Merceds or BMW and buy things with the American Express cards!
Just about every Beer and Soda and Milk store is run by a Persian or Arabic.
That's their bread and butter. Little stores with bread, milk, some can goods, ciagrettes, beer, potato chips.

#1. Jesus Christ said,"There is none good but the Father."
#2. He also said, "I am the way truth and the life no one comes to the Father but by me." Meaning no one gets to heaven but by obeying his word.
#3. He also commanded his followers to love your neighbors as you love yourselves.
#4. Jesus is not some religion, he is the TRUTH and the ONLY WAY.

it is purly out of fear
i am not a muslem but have read the koran it admits to jesus and mary and adds a bit to what is spoken of in the bible
i believe the4 angel told /revealed his words to your prophet
there are many other holy texts ,when the quoran talks of the book for egsample i believe that book posably was the old testiment
as mahamoud reveals each was sent thier own prophets to tell thier own people
thus swedenberg and mary baker eddie ,the mormans ,martin luther all are for me holy messengers as well
i hold jesus as the greatest teacher but as your islamb cant see that god has but one son
god has many suns of god ,one day they perhaps may enjoin as one for our only god
the one eternal creator god ,or perhaps not
by gods will alone
we cannot get to unite under one god by saying god sent but one teacher of man/men
indeed woman is half of gods creation ,and many woman prophets also were sent
god is owned by all ,under many names and by many beliefs
selfish people think god is thiers alone but such is the nature of the man child
love god
all man need do is love neighbour and love god
we are all equal in our creation
think the father rejoices the death of even one child ....no!!!
god is the only perfect
man but a pale reflection of the one god
of many names and as revealed by his many suns of light.
Ali please do not take the people seriously
they havnt read the book of the prophet and have only fear and media statements to back thier fears
you do well
