Sounds like you're over-drying your hair.

This is what my stylist told me to do:
1. Section the hair into at least two layers, use a hair clip to keep the top layers out of the way.
2. Keep the blow dryer on low.
3. After drying a section, rub in a small amount of a leave-in conditioner, about the size of a pea.
4. Repeat with the other sections.
5. Don't dry your hair Totally dry. When it's almost dry, stop.

My stylist also told me to only wash my hair 3 times a week due to my dry hair.

I have used Olive Manon Virgin Oil since young and it is indeed very effective for promoting hair growth and moisturing skin. I was introduced to it by my mum who's also an avid user. Never really had hair and skin quite dry when I was young, and I do see the difference now after years of using it. The method I was introduced to is called an Oil Pack. You'll have to massage the oil onto the skin and then keep it under wraps with a hot towel for about half an hour before showering. After shower and before sleep, apply gently on the affected area.

You can go to gnc vitamin place and get a vitamin 4 hair and nails. You have my problem that I get every time I brush, blowdry or wash my hair I get big amounts of hair . I started taking this vitamin and now I no longer have this problem. You can also try a hot oil treatment or a product called HAPPY.It has no hair dye but man doe's it make your hair look shiny and heathier. I buy it at target in the hair color department. Your hair is to dry and thats why it feels and looks brittle. You need to bring it back to life. I myself tried all these that I recommend. I color my hair alot and straighten it and my hair still looks healthy you should try it. Good luck.

•What you eat is reflected in the state of your hair. A hair-healthy diet includes a wide variety of foods, including lots of fruits and vegetables, and plenty of water. A daily multivitamin will ensure that your hair is getting all the nutritional support it needs. Stay away from processed foods, alcohol and cigarettes
You can help reduce the effects of hair loss from stress, trauma, shock or illness by increasing your intake of vitamin C found in fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly citrus fruit and juices, parsley, broccoli, green peppers and black currants.
Take a vitamin B complex everyday or brewers yeast. Increase your intake of protein found in meat, fish, liver, wheat germ, dried cooked beans and peas, tofu, cheese, milk and eggs.
•Massage the scalp regularly to encourage oil production.
• Washing the hair with a weak solution of common salt cleans the scalp, cures dandruff and prevents hair loss
• After you have washed your hair, rinse it in stale beer. It can be refrigerated or room temperature. Gives hair a silky soft feel, vibrant shine and leaves it tangle-free

uhg...that olive oil thing just makes your m=hair feel greasy and oily for the next week!!! I say deep condition it and then let it dry naturaly. no hair products or anything. Also use a wide tooth comb if you have one. Its gentler on the hair so that you dont get to much frizz, and it helps keep hair from breakage. hope i helped. good luck with that.

For Now You Should Deep Condition It. Next Time You Should Use BioSilk Before You Blowdry...That Stuff Works Wonders!

Stop blow drying it. Believe me it would help. I stopped blow drying my hair for a year then I started again to save time. My hair became a lot thinner because of it. Just put moisturizers in your hair and let it air dry. Then straighten it out with a low heat straightener ( or curler. works just as good if you pull it straight) believe me your hair breakage will really minimize.

a good shampoo would do the answer. go for the "nature-based" ones and don't towel-dry your hair the old, traditional way--scratching it with the towel. just pat it dry and let evaporation do the rest. that's what i do and my hair continues as good as the nile.
