They truely are a part of the U.S. Like it or not. Thousands of businesses would go down, fruit & vegetables would cost alot more, etc.

Lets cut to the chase... we need cheap workers to do hard manual labor for $4 an hour... so who's going to do it when you get paid $8 an hour for flipping hamburgers or running an elevator (read: minimum wage laws).

Liberal do-gooders have created the need for cheap labor, from whatever source, by legislating a (legal) worker utopia.

Poverty with dignity (which creates an adaquate cheap labor work force) is now illegal in this country, you are required by law to join a "welfare program" or face loosing your kids... That's the Democratic way....

What real evidence do you have that businesses would go down and fruit and vegetables would cost more? Perhaps some businesses that are operating illegally would go down. Good riddance. The honest business that are willing pay American citizens a living wage would thrive. Without the economic pressure of illegal immigrants forcing up housing costs and depressing wages, honest American Citizens could afford to pay a little more for vegetables it the prices did rise.

well what I think is that the people that are already in the US will lose jobs to the immigrants that are accepted into the US making the statement "Land of the free and home of the brave" somewhat true but the rate of pay might decrease or stay the same and never to rise for quite some time, also which is most important of all is that an immigrant will be given more resources versus an American and come on people we see it everyday mostly in popular states. They can be your grocery store, corner store, nail shop, fast food restaurant's,etc. So either way its a balance subject, it all depends on the main point of view.

Immigrants yes, illegal immigrants, no.

The USA does not now, never has and never will depend on illegal immigrants to keep its economy afloat. On the contrary, without illegal immigration our economy would do BETTER. Our taxes would be going into programs that would not be depleted as fast as they were funded.

Illegal immigrants cost the USA $BILLIONS$ ANNUALLY

Our jobs would open up, wages would rise, taxes would settle down, fruits/veggies would go up maybe a few cents. If I had to pay more for produce, that would be fine, I would pay less in taxes and my wages would probably go up, and I might even get to retire when I reach that age. As it is now, I will probably never have the opportunity to retire. And I have been paying into retirement since I was 16.

Here's an easy solution:
Farm jobs: Force the prisoners to take them. They should start up prison chain gangs and force the prisoners to pay for their stay in jail. This can be one of the jobs. Farmers can pay the prison- not the individual- a certain percentage of how much they make from their crops. Farmers might actually save money…..

All of the other jobs (ie. Busboys, etc.): Make anyone on welfare, in public housing, etc. take them by eliminating public aid altogether. (They will all be homeless and starve without the jobs.) If we do this, those jobs will get taken at the blink of an eye.

That's like saying why can't people accept a few laws to be broken?
What other laws do you think should be ignored?
Do you like the idea that tuberculosis is coming back to the U.S. because illegals are crossing our borders without having health checks?
What is wrong with you?

Because that is untrue.

Why cant people accept that the illegals should come here legally in the first place and we would not have a problem with it.
