My best guy friend and I have always had a bit of a thing for each other, but we never let it go anywhere. Neither of us had ever even acknowledged it, directly, to the other one until a month or so ago. In one night, we both admitted it, and some things changed. We decided we weren't going to pursue a serious relationship--we'd rather have our friendship in the end--but nonetheless, we've been flirting heavily and cuddling and the like.

The next thing that's coming, and we both know it, is a kiss. I've never been kissed before, but I know I want him to be the one to kiss me. The thing is, I know he won't, because there's still the whole potentially-jeapordizing-our-friendship thing. But I don't think that a kiss would do that, not to us, and I'd like us to.

So my question is--what do you think about the girl kissing the guy? Or, at least, me hinting something to him? Or maybe kissing him on the cheek to get the idea across...?

Find a time when you are alone with him. Lean in to him. Make eye contact. then you look down at his lips then up at his eyes. Then back to his lips..lean in closer and I bet you will both be kissing.

Sometimes it's a relief if the girl kisses first. Guys like a strong, confident woman that they still feel they could take care of and love. I think that it shows true respect for the significant other.
If this does not help, try confronting this other person and see how they feel about it. There might be a problem you're not aware of.
Good luck!

It is perfectly normal. I used to be the really shy type, and would not kiss my girlfriends for some time, because I was too nevous to make the move, I always felt more comfortable when they did it. A guy will rarely turn down a kiss, the girl starting it shows her acceptance of that kiss.

NO! Sorry, but you can't kiss a guy. Confront him and ask him to kiss more. If you are the shy type, cuddle close to him and keep the mood up, while still letting him have full access to your lips

Go for it! If it's what you both want, take the risk. I kiss my boyfriend and he loves it. Just peck at first until you get used to it, then you can kiss more. Have fun! :)

He's a guy. If a woman whom he finds attractive tackles him, he's not going to refuse. And youre relationship has already changed, he needs to realized that it wont be the same and that he needs to move forward with your relationship.

I bet it is something that deep down he is wanting as well. It will most likely be a big relief to him if you just went for it. Good luck.

Its not a problem-go for it. He'll react naturally once he notices that you're trying to get a kiss from him.
