I'm a guy, so I'm not sure how much help I'll actually be, but being handsome or good-looking is all in your perspective. As the old-fashioned proverb states, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!" You cannot judge physical looks equally. Many people have their own attractive physical qualities. You may be physically attracted to someone beyond belief but your best friend could think the person is "ugly".

Well to me it means this. The handsome guy is someone I would date because he seems to have the physical features that I am looking for. The good looking guy is great but there is something about him that does not turn me on or that I would not date. But do not take it personal, because everybody is looking for something different. Just know that to some you are going to be good looking while others think you are handsome.
