If you would like to lose weight from a specific part of the body, you canot localize your workout. Your thighs, waist, and, badunkadunk, are connected to the same thing...your body. To lose weight in these areas the whole body has to be affected. You see those chubby guys in the gym doing endless bench presses, they do not have a ripped chest. The problem areas are simply where your body stores fat. Do not focus on these areas when working out as they will get bigger, not leaner. Instead do an al body workout starting top to bottom.

i think about cancer patients...how they lose hella weight, right? look skinny as rails, no matter how they looked before cancer. not saying that you'd wanna do that, but it's possible for the fat to be gone.

a while back, i was doing weight lifting and aerobics 5 or 6 days a week for a total of 45 - 50 minutes each day (i've since cut down), but at that time, i was on an 8,000 calorie diet. if i only ate 6,500 in a day, i'd notice the next day i would be about a pound or so lighter. so...it can be done, there is no limit to how hard you work, just ease into it.

It all depends upon how much you want/need to lose. I've been REALLY watching what I've been eating for the past four weeks and have DRAMATICALLY cut my caloric intake. I have lost weight all over my body, arms/legs/calves/stomach, etc. I have alot of weight to lose and I know this will take me a long, long, time. How much weight do you need to lose? If you do a cardio workout, it will increase your metabolism and you will lose weight where you have extra weight.

Fat cells expand and contract. Obviously, the more you eat, the fatter your fat cells will be and the more fat cells you will have. If you eat less, those previous 'fat' fat cells, will decrease in size but they will NEVER go away. I know, it doesn't seem fair, but that's the way it goes!!

if you are already pretty thin, and you work out your thighs, you will add muscle there, and your legs could get bigger (that is, if you are thin). If you are more on the chubby side then it will help lose fat from those places.

One CAN lose fat at all the parts you mentioned if you religiously follow a cardio program.

depending on what you eat....fat can go away! i say it "melts" away by your diet because vegitbals, natural sugars like in fruits, and the right protein will change you in many ways depending on what you mix in with a routine....as long as the routine is differant everday you excirsie

if you exercise those areas then you will reduce in size...the fat is absorbed by the muscle so you will have better toning and you will lose cm's in size.....thats my understanding anyway
