Do you have a list of key terms or a study guide?

Spend a little time each time; best a few times each day this weekend. Look over your key terms and the definitions.

Make flashcards. Put definitions on one side and the terms on the other. QUIZ yourself. It is like taking the test before you actually take it. You will find at the beginning that you are not able to recite many of the definitions. After practicing you may get to 50%. That is still not so good... so keep going and reviewing all of the cards until you can say all of the definitions.

I usually start with the first one and say it over and over until I know it. Then I go to the second one, read it, say it the best I can and then go back to #1. Say 1 and then 2, then try 3. Every time you start over, go back to the first one. You will find that you can say the beginning ones VERY easily after this practice.

If the teacher gave you practice questions make cards of those too, with the answers on the back. Keep quizzing yourself until you get an "A" on your practice. When you can get an A while practicing; you can get an A or a B on the test.

Have a family member or friend help quiz you to break up the monotony of it. I did this for history and it worked wonders.

If there are a couple of things that you are having a hard time with; take the time to associate with something that you know that makes sense. Your teacher will often do this when teaching. If the topic is gases and vapor... she teaches you about how water steams when it is hot enough to boil. That is liquid turning into a gas and something that all kids have seen before. Connect it to something that you know.

well, it'll help if you read everything correctly... and make sure you really are reading... because looking at your question... i dont know what the heck "stufy" is... so good luck with it.

haha, i'm sorry... i'm giving you a hard time. what you have to do i just concentrate. Put everything else out of mind and look at precicely what you have to know for your test. writing things down on a notecard is good help too.

good luck with the biology test!! PEACE

Put yourself in an environment where you can learn best.

I needed a quiet room with classical music on the radio
