Do you think that benefits will eventually be stopped for anyone in the U.S. illegally. Do you think this will cause Mexicans to eventually go home to strengthen their own country with the trades they've learned here (North of the boarder)?

They should not be here, they have not paid into the system, they should be made to leave and the Mexican Gov should be sent a bill for the care of all of its people and all of the babies they brought and had here!

I'd like to clarify first that it is not just Mexicans here illegally but various South American countries-Ecuador,Paraguay, but Mexico is the country thats on the border and true there are quite a few from Mexico. When a illegal immigant goes to the Emergency Room at a hospital-where everyone who comes is treated as it should be for I can't see someone ill ,esp. a ill child being turned away-there is no requirement to prove citizenship but neither does the illegal tell the Hospital for then the hospital ot tratment center would naturally by law be obligated to call immigration So there no free benefits for illegals per se. To be enrolled in school one just needs to show that one is a resident of the county but where they to say illegal would be reported by the school. Reasons why Immigration laws need to be consciously enforced. Since the majority of the illegals get employed doing menial work there aren't a lot of trade skills being taught to them because of the laguage barrier. The problem in their home country is that there aren't enough jobs for the number of peopleso even is they did learn trades they'd have to be able to use in their home county-the opportunities just aren't there-why they come here-for the opporuniies..Were they available in their home country they could make a living and support their families there.

Ya, what free benefits, no proof of citizenship, no free benefits. Why is it that everyone thinks that illegals get all kinds of governmental assistance? If any assistance is given, it;s through private agencies aimed at helping people (that's right illegals are people too), such as churches and missions. People coming to America regardless from what Country will never stop....china, russia, Canada.....and guess what....Native Americans were here first ....making everyone else an immigrant

Yes I do feel my tax dollars should not be used to support illegals. Will it happen most likely not. Will they go fight for rights in their own country? definitely not. When they can come here and fight for the right to stay here even though they are illegals. And eventually the US government is going to bow to their demands.

What people have to realize is the legal Mexican population is growing by leaps and bounds. These are voting citizens and eventually they will be a strong majority in politics in this country and our borders will be wide open.

I think all rights should be taken from the illegals. They should have never been here in the first place. If we took rights away and benefits they would all go home on their own and they would not want to be here.

Yes, they should be cut off from getting ANY Federally funded assistance!! That is TAX PAID by U.S. citizens and those benefits are FOR U.S. citizens!! I think those benefits ARE being stopped.

Will they go home?
Well if they have an ounce of sense they would!! If they can't get a job, housing, welfare, free medical (except emergencies), education, or a drivers license, it would stand to reason they would go back to their own countries and try to make a "better life" THERE. Of course, how many of them 'think reasonably'?

I think the benefits should be stopped. It is an incentive for illegals to stay.
Whether it helps illegals to leave and strengthen their own country is irrelevant.

What benefits? Welfare. Nope, they aren't eligible. Medicaid. Not eligible. Unemployment? Not eligible. Social Security? Not eligible.

Even the illegals who DO pay taxes will never be eligible for those benefits.

What benefits are you proposing taking away from them? Like public restrooms or air to breathe or what?

I dont really understand your question. But I can garuntee you that they will not leave if benefits are cut from them. The mexicans that come over here work hard to the point where that will NOT phase them. Plus everyone has a seperate story that would want them to stay/go back. But by cutting benefits ... nope.

This should not even be a viable question. It even sounds ridiculous..."Free benefits for ILLEGAL immigrants..."
No person here illegally should receive ANYTHING for free. Until there are no more abused and neglected children, animals and people in this country we have NO business giving these privileges out like condoms!!!!
