I have a flat metal panel that I want to paint a scene on. It will remain indoors.
What is the best kind of paint to use?
I was going to use my acrylics, but I was afraid it would chip off after time.
Thanks!

Try Rustoleum, or an epoxy-based enamel. Acrylic paint is water-soluble, and will not stick to metal.

Use a conversion coating (galvanized usually) specific to the metal, then use enamel or automotive paint.
