Is this normal? He is the nicest funniest little monkey here, he always makes me laugh with his crazy emails and pictures of himself. I live in New York and he lives in New York, should I ask him out on a date? I know he is a nice guy and not a pyscho but I'm afraid If I ask him out online he'll think I'm a weirdo for asking him out?

Ask him out. I'm sure he's not a weirdo. He lives in New York. That's cool. He answers a lot of questions on Yahoo. That's cool. He's probably not 12. That's cool.
What do you have to lose? If he's a freak like the other 87% of New Yorkers, then you don't have to see him again.
By the way, who is he? I'll read his stuff and tell you if he's worth it.
We'd all like to know.

Please be careful. Most people don't know people they meet in person, much less on the internet.
Well, if you have to meet this person, at least take precautions, like make sure he doesn't know where you live or even your license plate number (if you drive). He can find out where you live even if he has your phone number or even your full name.
For some reason, I doubt that he would be weirded out if you asked him out. To be safe, meet for lunch in a public place, and I would even suggest that you have a friend watching your back in surveillance or with you, or that can call you at a certain time as a way out (i.e. an excuse to leave) if it's not going well and you want to leave discreetly.

wow, u live in New York. I live in Adelaide South Australia, which isnt bad but il probably never get to see N.Y. except on television, anyway you look pretty gorgeous going by your picture, do u already have extra contact online with him apart from this stuff, if so ask him, what have u got to lose???? Sarah: You don't know squat about this guy, you just think you do.
If you want to meet him, make it on neutral ground in a place with lots of people. And not a favorite hangout of yours. Having a covert backup is not a bad idea either.

My opinion i dont think its safe to go out with a guy you met online. You dont know if hes really nice and you dont know if those pictures are really of him. Think about it before you really get hurt. Its not worth it.

what is the worst that can happen, him say no. I would use care though, get to know him better on a personal level (ie e-mail and such for a while)
