She is not sick, I let her outside four to five times a day, she gets plenty of attention....so i don't know if she does it out of boredem or what. She was hous broken when we got her, I just have no idea why she does what she does......it is just absolutely insane! She urines in the house everywhere, I have tried sprays, nuetralizers, training pads, newspaper, everything, she just seems to ignore every thing and urinates somewhere in the house.....I just wonder if there are any other suggestions that might work....she is just a regular manchester sort of terrier mixed with something else...but I just really need suggestions...I have tried lots of different things to help her, but she just keeps going and doing her buisness everywhere, one moment shes wagging her tail happy the next she zips in a room and pees everywhere in the room, and she acts as if she has never done it until you see it. any help would do fine, thank you :)

Tough situation. How long have you had her --- how old is she? Does she exhibit any type of "apologetic" behavior ---- like she knows she has made an error?

A manchester terrier is a high energy dog--- a worker breed --- needs a lot of open area to run/patrol in order to satisfy her natural tendencies. Since she is going everywhere, and there is no medical reason (age, bladder irritant, food allergy, change in water sources) I might lead towards a frustrated worker breed accustomed to the wide open spaces to patrol.

I'd limit her fluid intake ---- water bowl down in the a.m. with her breakfast --- and when the food goes, so does the water bowl -- then she is outside to do her business (at least 20 minutes for her system to eliminate); crate her when you are not home and when you are, limit her to the area in which you are (or put her back in the crate). With her evening meal, put the water down again and repeat a.m. process. Also if she remains in the crate for over 4 hours, she should be put outside for again at least 20 minutes.

I am assuming that your vet has checked her out and ruled out any other type of organic issues. Good luck

did you get another differant animal in the house or a new piece of furnature. i would use a kennel carrier for along time when you are gone or in bed. dont put water in the carrier or the dog will wet the carrier. take her to the vet the dog might have bladder infection or something else going on with the dog. good luck must be stinky in your house!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree with popcorninfuselady's response. But to add to it, you need to first have this dog checked for urinary tract or bladder infection. This can be dangerous to the dog if you don't treat it. If that is not the case, then I agree that it is behavioral and your best bet is to crate train.

I have seen products in the pet supply sections that you put on furniture or carpets that repels dogs from urinating on furniture, BUT before putting it on Wash the furniture in HOT HOT water so as the dog can not smell her scent Good Luck

maybe you need to train your dog to go outside and pee and if the dog follow directions give the dog a good treat when the dog pee inside give the dog a punishment for example, not treats and take the dog outside for 10 minutes and them bring him back to the house you have to do this until the dog understand

good luck

Is she squatting and peeing, or just leaking urine. You need to have her checked for a urinary tract infection, and maybe she needs something to tone up her bladder.

this has gone on too long... you have to RE train her now... put her leash on and tie her to you. she has to EARN her house freedom back!... by only peeing where and when YOU say.. BE her BOSS. get it? use a crate at night for sleeping... when EVER she cries you take her out to pee no talking cept to say peepee outside! then RIGHT back to bed, no fuss .. lights out... BE her boss!.. that is what SHE wants.

If she has just started this, she needs to be checked for a urinary tract infection!
