I have payed this dice game many times with my family. We call it 10,000 and we need 650 to get in.

5 dice
you roll all 5 dice
650 to enter game
a single 1 is worth 100pts
a single 5 is worth 50 pts
3 dice bearing 1's (rolled only at the same time) = 1000pts
3 dice bearing 2's (rolled at the same time) = 200pts
3 dice bearing 3's (rolled at the same time) = 300pts
3 dice bearing 4's (rolled at the same time) = 400pts
3 dice bearing 5's (rolled at the same time) = 500pts
3 dice bearing 6's (rolled at the same time = 600pts

if you roll a low ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) or high (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)straight at the same time = 1500pts

score points with all 5 dice and you can roll all 5 once again and keep adding up the points. your rolll ends when you throw no scoring dice or you choose to hold.

the first person to reach 10,000 wins but i don't see why that couldn't be extended to 15,000

yes but we go to 10000.......umm.....1 are 100 5s are fifty.......three of a kind...like 1 are 1000....3 fives are 500....3 twos are 200....3 threes are 300 and so on.......need 600 to open......for example i roll 3 ones on my first roll thats a thousand i can open....if i take a chance and dont score...meaning i have 2 dice left.i have to get a 1 or a 5 to score..if i dont score i lose that 1000 points and im not open yet, but if stop....meaning keep my 1000 then im open to score on the next turn.......now my next turn i roll a one, i can got for it but if i dont score on the second roll i lose that hundred off of my main score, but im still open........any time you dont score, the points you rolled is takin off your main score......a straight you have to roll in one shot, that is 1500 points....meaning you cant take a 1 and a 2 out, then try for a straight..has to be rolled on your first turn, the same with the 1 and the 5 and so on....you have to roll the 3 of a kind in one shot,,,you can roll the three of a kind on your second turn and score....example i cant take a 2 out one roll then roll 2 more two on my second throw, they have to be rolled at the same time to sccore.....i rolled a straight many times on my first roll...had all the dice in hand and went for it....didnt score lost 1500 off my main score.....well i hope i helped and explained it well...any question email me...jdog44442003@yahoo.com.....ohhhhhh one more thing you have to go out right on 15000.....if you go over you go back that many points you rolled from your score
