If your stomach hurts after eating, especially after hot/spicy foods or when eating tomatoes, the problem is that your stomach lining is too thin or has holes in it (aka an ulcer).

The ONLY thing that you can do to rebuild your stomach lining is to eat green cabbage, about a small fist size worth at first. More adventurous people can juice the cabbage and drink it, but I wouldn't. The easiest way to consume the cabbage is to cut it up and put it in a salad.

I was diagnosed with an ulcer about 10yrs ago and this was a miracle cure for me. You need to eat this daily for about 3 weeks an then you can start cutting back.

I wrote an article about how I cured my ulcer, anti-acids and pills ARE NOT A CURE.

Peppermint can help a stomach-ache that is caused by excess stomach wind. You can try peppermint tea or an over the counter tablet like De-gas. However if you are having 'attacks' of stomach pain that come every few minutes you might need an antispasmodic medication, like Buscopan.

I would try anti acid tablets. They work very quick. If you have a walgreens store in your area buy the walgreens brand. They work super fast and they arent nasty. Also you can push down on your thumb nerve to ease any pain in your body. Now this is also strange liquid can also ease stomach pain because your stomach churns the food you eat, when liquid enters the stomach the stomach slows down the churning and until the liquid is gone the stomach starts churning again and when it does its not going to hurt. Never drink coca cola when your stomach hurts because usally a stomach ace is caused from stomach acid trapped somewhere and drinking soda makes it worst, because soda has acid in it too. Never drink milk becase its thick and it can make you throw up when you have a stomach ace.

Or if you have constant stomach aches you need to get your gall bladder tooken out. Always avoid spicy foods. Ketchup, mustard, bb q sauce, peppers, hot sauce, etc. You should also go see a doctor because sometimes it can be acid is burning holes in your stomach

it can help becuase of the carbonation, if you have a stomach ache from indigestion or gas, the carbonation helps to belch it out, similar to an alka seltzer. The reason for sprite and not coke or dr. pepper or whatever is because sprite is caffiene free. Caffeine can cause stomache aches. So no, its not a cure, but yes it can help depending on the cause of the ache.

The main organs in the abdomen are the digestive system consisting of the stomach, small and large intestines, the liver, the gall bladder , pancreas, the appendix and the kidney. It depends on the cause. There are 9 quadrants in the abdomen. Which one there is aching.
The right upper quadrant is usually associated with liver problems. The middle is the epigastric, usually associated with acid peptic disease. The lower abdomen, is usually associated with urinary tract infection or pelvic inflammatory disease.
It is better that you consult your doctor with regards to this.
