Pendeja or pendejo means a, s, s, h, o, l, e ( not the body part )not moron or maybe moron in a very offensive way

Although the masculine form of the word in spanish means "pubic hair" it is never used in that manner. It is though used as a derogatory comment meaning idiot or stupid. The english equivalent would be "dumb@#s.

Well... that person who call u that way tried to call u ztu-pid, or i-ddiot... something like that. TYhere is not translation for many bad words from Spanish to English, cos in English everything is F***k and F **** er.

Even though it is not a polite expression it can go from silly ( in a friendly context) to dumb ***** ( as an insult). Tone a voice would also say a lot.
