Yes indeed. Thank you for your sensitivity.
Sometimes all the needs in the world become too much to cover so I have devised a system.
M-F, I have a continent for each day w/ all the nations of the world listed. In 1 week I pray through the world.
M-F, I have a second list of concerns such as my family/churches/friends/government at all levels including firefighters and forest firefighters/ medical. Saturday is the catch all day.
When tragedies such as the CA fire loom up and threaten to overwhelm, I find it comforting to know they have been and will continue to be in my prayers. I invite you to consider the method.

I will not pray, as it is a total and utter waste of time. I will hope science advances so that new techniques in fighting fires will save the lives of the firefighters.

God please give these families strength in their times of need. Please send your angels to watch over them and comfort them in the times of the loss. Let them find peace and comfort in your word, and let them draw closer to your arms for shelter, and please let them find forgiveness for the people that have caused this terrible tragedy. Let their hearts be pure and full of love, not holding a grudge. Let vengeance be yours Lord, and comfort be in that their loved ones are walking with you tonight on streets of Gold.
