I have learned that it is very rare for a teen my age (17) to not want to partake in handjobs, fingering, etc. My girlfriedn amazingly feels the same way as I do, and I'm very happy about that. However, I am wondering if this is going to effect are relationship of 3 months. I believe in true love, and we are both Catholic, so there are also moral beliefs behind our desision. I know it sounds nuts because of my age, but I think her and I are truly in love because we are truly attracted to one another's personalities. I think it is good that neither of us are really being influenced by sexual desires and stuff.
It kinda seems liek everyone else is finding some kind of sex relationships at the fundamentals of their relationship. I am just curious if this stuff is really that important, and if we can build a strong, lasting (hopefully forever, yeah I'm trying to be an optomist) relationship. We have been best friends for the year and a half prior to our relationship.

good on for you you have the rest of your life to have a sexual relationship, it is more important to find out who your are compatible with first, sounds lame but it is all part of an adult world

If you can have a loving relationship with someone without haveing sex and doing all that other stuff doesn't mean you are going to fail. It's actually a very good thing. Alot of people these days base their relationship on the intimate part of the relationship when really you should love someone because of how they make you feel and how you are around them. So you both are heading down a great path. You dont need sex in a relationship to make it work, it actually adds a whole lot more drama to a relationship. So enjoy being with her and sont worry about sex cause it's not important.

If the relationship is built on sex, in the end, one party will get bored, and when there is nothing else to keep them in the relationship, it will fail.

You obviously respect each other alot and thats important. Make sure you communicate tonnes about how you feel and she feels. Make her feel special in ways that arnt sexual. Go for it!!! You sound like a great guy.

Love is a tricky one. I cant say whether you are or not, only you can know that, and her of course.
