If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. Keeping the scalp clean, brushing lots daily, keeping the ends trimmed of split ends, eating healthy, drinking lots of water, sleeping at least 8 hours at night, keeping hair covered in heat, cold and wind, not brushing it when wet..use a comb instead, stop using hair dryers and curling irons on it, don't use gel or mousse and keep objects that break it out of the hair...elastics, barrettes etc.

A product called Ojon works pretty well. You can find it at Sephora.com. I used it and it repaired my hair. I had short hair with bald edges, but my hair is long and health now. You have to keep you end trimmed and do not over process your hair. I would keep it as natural as possible. My stylist told me that nothing really grows your hair. You just have to take care of it. Thanks and good luck!

cut it often, use Dove Thearpy shampoo to prevent split ends. use cold water when rinsing your hair. it makes it shiny and strong. if your blow drying your hair, use cold setting for texture and to keep from breaking your hair. Try to avoid flat irons, or buy a ceramic one (coralisis works wonders) so it gets really hot but doesnt burn your hair. Dont brush your hair too much because it eveuntually starts ripping out hairs and breaks some. but brush it a couple times in the afternoon if you can. overall, keep it really healthy =)

They have those shampoos and conditioners and junk but I heard that makes your hair brittle.
You can try prenatal pills but check with your doc first to make sure that it wont have any negative effects on your body.
Dont wash your hair as much, I heard dirt helps your hair grow.
And brush it daily, to stimulate your scalp.
Reduce the junk you put in your hair.
Try new hairstyles that dont require so much junjk in it...buns, braids, down.

a friend said taking the liquid out of birth control pills and massaging in your scalp helps your hair grow. also, massage your head for 8-10 minutes before sleeping to increase your blood flow.
