Who else agrees with me that this is extremely tacky and uncalled for? I think it is so ironic that the drug addicted shameless loser even feels that he has a leg to stand on when insulting someone about their physical condition.

Also, for the Radical Right to use quotations from the Bible to talk about how "wrong" these types of issues are (homosexuality, stem cell research, etc), I think it is pretty funny that they choose to quote literally from the Old Testament when it serves them and to ignore the passages about stoning their neighbors to death for collecting wood on the Sabbath. I also haven't seen any of them leaving burning animal carcasses on the door of their neighbor's home or building homes in their back yard to lock their wives and daughters in when they menstruate (as it is an unclean time and they must be isolated). Which Bible verse do you want to use? How can you manipulate the word of God to serve your purpose and ignore it when it obviously doesn't make sense

Rush loves Jesus, oxycontins & Twinkies. (Probably not in that order.)

Rush Limbaugh is merely an entertainer who takes pop-shots at anyone to get ahead.

He doesn't even engage in serious political debate. He just yells people down and regurgitates his agenda. Definitely not a man to be taken seriously.

A man who may or may not benefit from this research has reached out and asked voters to permit this sort of research. Rush Limbaugh is kicking him while he's down. If it helps his ratings any, Rush would probably yank food out of a poor woman's mouth and smack her simply for being hungry.

He is a horrible, horrible man who is abusing his charisma.

Edit: Incidentally, some of the criticism is about Michael J. Fox not taking his meds so he looks more pitiful for the ad. I wouldn't doubt it. But that doesn't change the fact that he has Parkinson's Disease! It's not like he's lying about his condition. Does Rush think that staying on medication is a substitute for a cure?

When people try to persuade others, there is usually something emotional. Jim Talent relies on manipulating Christians to support him on some very emotional topics. Oh, and Michael J. Fox can't use the same tools?

Ok, first obviously you did not hear what Rush really said,

And next Rush has said he was sorry and only gave his opinon of the add Michael did.

It is a well known fact that Michael admitted that for his talking to the Senate he did indeed not take his medication, so that his condition could be seen much easier.

So he did already have a record of doing that.

next in almost all of his public appearances, he has appeared to have his condition under control with medication, even making public appearances on TV.

So if you assume he is able to appear on TV as normal, and he has a record of not taking medication to make a political statement. It could easily be assumed he was doing it again for the purpose of a political add.

I think most people who follow him would have thought the same thing, he was showing people what the condition can do without treatment.

Now Michael says this is not the case ( I do hope he is not lying to appear a victim for political purpose) But since Michael has said this was not the case and he is on his medication, only his condition has gotten alot worst, Rush has said he was sorry for his comments.

Next of course Rush is an entertainer, not a political person, he says things good and bad about almost all politial people at some point and time. He says things to make people mad and to make others laught at people who call into his show.

I listened to all of Rushes comments directly and he did not insult Michael, he voiced his opinion of the political add Michael made and then said he was sorry on the air after Michael said it was not true. ( he took and beleived michael on his word, he has that respect for him, he wouldnot take the word of most political people)

I agree Rush Limbaugh's statement was way out of line now one wants to see Michael J. Fox suffer and we all want a cure for his illness both for him and the rest of the people who suffer from that disease. Rush did apologize for the statement but it was very careless of him to make it.

By the way the religious right is not against Stem Cell Research they are against Killing Unborn Babies to gain the Stem Cells. The other point is private industry can do the research but the President does not want the Government to pay for it.

I do strongly agree with your first point. I think you are wrong to attack the " Religious Right " for a statement someone else made. One great thing about our country is you have the freedom to express your opinion right or wrong and I have the freedom to agree or disagree. Isn't this a wonderful place to live?

I really don't understand the argument either. I mean unless you can look into the eyes of people in advanced stages of conditions that leave them shells of the wonderful people they used to be, and still say that a bundle of cells, with potential to become a person or anything else organic, takes precident over those suffering then please shut the F up.

you are able to choose for to forget approximately with reference to the becoming conservative help for stem cellular study notwithstanding it won't flow away. as a remember of actuality that stem cellular study is very close to no longer having to matter on embryos besides. i think which potential you are able to flow returned to throwing them away. you will enable placentas for use in the cosmetics industry (placentas which comprise lots of - - - STEM CELLS! yet you go with for this as an argument? Your credibility suffers i'm afraid. by the way, what sturdy might it do to donate money to embryonic stem cellular study while it is constrained to the strains that have been modern-day formerly the ban went into result. that could be like taking your watch to an vehicle restoration shop to get it mounted you're extraordinarily particular they don't have the procedures and you comprehend they don't have the journey, yet the two places restoration issues? by the way, it is now common prepare to freeze stem cells taken out of the umbilical twine while a toddler is born, in case they want them if the toddler gets particular forms of maximum cancers. given which you look determining of steam in this subject (stem cells can now be created with out embryos) i think you are able to desire to point your perfect wing conservative weapons in this one next!

I totally agree with Jerry E! He could care less. He had ulterior motives behind his comments. You said it best, his tactics were very tacky, uncalled for, and very malicious. He has the nerve to comment whereas he is a low down person and proved it even more to me with the things he said toward Micheal J Fox who has always shown to be decent and respectable person. He is such a hypocrite!

You're right, because of his disease, Michael J. Fox is untouchable in the political arena. And all Christians use the Bible for their own purposes when they should follow your interpretation only. Pretty hard pills to swallow.

The true story is that the majority of HELLiewood don't care about
anything but money and keeping their life style going. The abortion
mills know that if stem cell were to be OK their money will keep on
coming in even when they take a child's life in doing it.Abortion is
cold bloodied murder and unless repented of will be judged by God.

Deu 19:13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

Deu 21:8 Be merciful, O LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel's charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them.

Psa 106:38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

Isa 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
Isa 59:8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

Thank God he has made a way to be forgiven and start all over again
if you have had a abortion.I am not looking down on women that have
had a abortion just letting you know that God will forgive and forget and give you a clear conscience.Come and let God save and forgive and forget
your sin and give you peace of mind.

Look,I love MJFox,a great talent but when he does T.V shows like "Boston Legal" etc,he manages to regulate his meds so that he doesn't twitch and shake. When he wants sympathy for his cause he does,it's that simple.Rush pointed out that it was a political move to make Jim Talent look bad even though it's already legal in Mo. for stem cell research.Adult stem cells have been used sucessfully, embryonic stem cells have NEVER ONCE CURED ANYTHING,IT's an Abortion front.Check it out yourself don't be fooled.

Rush Limbaugh is an evil man. He does not care about right or wrong. He does not care about truth or lies. He only cares about keeping the Republicans in power, and he will say anything at all to achieve that goal.
