I don't want to volunteer to do it. Do you?

I buy earth friendly products, but many people don't care, and they have to test all those new chemical based ones on something.
Personally, I like the all natural ones though they are rather expensive! It's worth the clean conscious.

No. Animal testing is good. Without it, we would have no biomedical science.

Without it, we would not have vaccines for:
Anthrax
Chicken pox
Cholera
Flu
Influenza B
Hepatitis A and B
Measles
Mumps
Polio
Rabies
Rubella
Smallpox
Tetanus
Whooping Cough
Yellow Fever

Medications created by the use of animal experiments include:
Insulin
Penicillin
Streptomycin
Anti-Inflammatory Drugs
Pain Killers
Anticoagulants
Chemotherapy
Cyclosporine

I guess you must be one of those people that would like for everyone to be infected with any if not all of these things. You must also hate medications that help millions every day too. When was the last time you had a flu shot?

Sure, I'll vote to stop animal testing - as long as you will volunteer to be the first to try any new untested experimental drugs.

I am a vegetarian. I am also all for animal testing as long as the intention of the tests are to reduce the overall amount of suffering in the world.

I agree that testing cosmetics on animals is wrong but for medical testing, better they use animals than humans. Really, what else are rats good for?

If hooking a monkey's brain to a battery will help find a cure for cancer I only have two things to say...

Red is positive.

Black is negative.
