i don't see a problem with it as long as they arent near the kids, regardless of how friendly they are.

I'm not a Parent.
NO! Check if your Pitbulls are Legal where you live and you have the proper papers for them,.. you don't want to lose YOUR Babies.
The breed has flaws, no matter how sweet they are there is something in them that is triggered and makes them act in their nature but against their normal personality. So there is no way around it,.. plus even if they are Legal where you live there may be laws against what your asking.
I cannot remember the exact numbers but they were responcible for about 40% of the "Dog Bites" (stitches required, hospitalization or death occur in these cases) reported each year and there are very few of them since they are illegal so many places. So your looking at like .02% of Dogs doing 40% of what Dogs do negatively. And they are usually the sweethearts. It's not the indivual Dogs fault, it was all the breeding they were put through for all these years to be like they are.
And by now your mad at me because you didn't read everything :(
I hope you find a way to be happy and keep your "babies" at the same time.

Sorry, no. I would of course have an issue with the dogs, but I'd also have an issue with the fact that you couldn't get insurance for you daycare with 2 pit bulls on the property.
I know pit bulls can be extremely loving pets BUT I'd never take that chance with my children.

Sorry, I would have to vote no. Most pet owners who have pitbulls have no trouble out of their dogs, until something provokes them. Animals are animlas, and some are more high strung than others. Kids only see a puppy, they don't understand that some dogs are more apt to bite. Little dogs and pitbulls are a great big no to me. Dogs like Spaniels, Labs, and Retrievers seem to be bred as family dogs, and generally are protective of children.

What about the kids play area outside? Are the dogs able to get in that area? As long as there was no way possible for the dogs to be in the same area. I might consider it, but honestly I would try to find somewhere without dogs.

I think that it shows that you are concerned child care provider. I however am not sure that I would let my children. I want to own my own daycare too and constantly have to tell my husband no to a Rottweiler because of their reputation. I don't want anybody to turn down my happy care because of a dog.

if you want to start a daycare, the pitbulls might be a serious turndown for most parents, because no matter how much you love and know your dogs, pitbulls have a reputation of being violent without provocation... hope this helps and good luck!

Nope. And I'm a dog lover. Pit bulls are too unpredictable.

consider the fact that when most parents here the word "pitbull", they cringe. try telling them about all the good features of you before you mention dogs at all: tell them that the dogs will never come in contact with the children and follow through with it; moms can smell all kinds of dogs, including human dogs

Take into consideration that some kids might be allergic to your dogs, like I am.
