It depends what kind of guy he is and how well you know him. If you have been in a long, meaningful relationship for some time now, then he means that he cares about you, respects you, and genuinely likes you for who you are. However, if you just recently met him, he probably means that he likes you, not really loves you. That is because love is a thing that grows over time and has to deal with qualities such as trust, honesty, forgiveness, companionship, and actually genuinely liking the person. These qualities must grow between two people; they do not appear right when a relationship begins.

Depends on the guy and on how he said it.
There can be a friendly Ilove you, a passionate I love you, A pilllow talk Ilove you... If you have to ask, my guess is the relationship is young and you are not sure what he said is what you wish it meant. Give it time, it will sort itself out.

it depends if the guy is your bf then he probally means it and if he is just a friend then oyu can never tell but if he smiles when he says it or even walks away and hides from you during the next few days then he really meant it

depends how many times he's said it before ( meaning to diff people) if it's the first or second time in his life saying that it means alot. i've had many boyfriends, but it took me a long while to say it but when i did it as to the right person, but we eventually broke up. the second time i said it, it's to my now fiance. .

guys are totally hard to understand... you'll never really know what he truly means... but if a guy says he loves you, he'd probably mean it.. especially if he had a hard time saying it... either that or he just wants to have sex....
