He'll feel more comfortable around you in the future, when you spend more time together, sweating when your dance alot is natural, unless it's so bad, the the people around him were slipping all over the place, because of it, but hey that didn't happen, so you will understand what makes him self conscious and what doesn't.

You don't stop it.

I don't know his age, or if the sweating occurrs only when dancing. If it happens only when he is dancing, he may be uncomfortable or self conscious. It may be the physical excercise that causes the sweating. If that is the case, maybe he needs to sit a dance out before the sweating starts. You do not state his age, but this condition will likely reduce as he gets older. You can help him understand that this is a part of his metabolism that you can accept.
A visit to a dermatologist may be in order. There are prescription anti persperants that work very well. Meijer sells a product called Certain Dry that works almost as well as a prescription anti persperants.

To summarize, you can't stop it, and he can take steps to reduce it, but he will become comfortable with his body over time. As you might be able to tell, I have first hand experience with this myself. It can get bad in extrememly uncomfortable situations. I have learned that when dancing or doing any thing that makes me hot, when I sense that I am sweating heavily, a trip to the bathroom for cold water on the face helps. Loose fitting clothing and a T shirt helps conceal perspiration. Also, I test shirts for their ability to conceal persperation by putting a couple drops of tap water on them prior to wearing them. There are certian fabrics that one would think would hide it well, and the tap water test proves the complete opposite.
Watching TV, I am amazed at the number of people, public speakers, singers, talk show hosts, that perspire heavily - and it shows up "loud and clear" under the lights of a studio or stage. It is nothing more than one of the inconveniences of being human. The more comfortable he becomes with his body, the less it will occur.

I agree with the rest of the people that say in time he will be comfortable but to help him when he started to feel self conscious and u see the signs reassure him how much you like him.. it's a good ego boost.

um, i think i know how that feels.......

just give him time and assure him that u love him so he doesnt need to worry, give him a sweet kiss and tell him that when he looks tense and nervous, soon he'll calm down and be comfortable........

u see the problem is low self esteem and insecurity issues, i suffer from the same thing, so....a kiss blah blah blah will make him feel a lot better around you, and otherwise.........

Give him a romantic kiss everytime he gets like that depending where u are of course. But if he sees the amount of affection he receives, he will get more confident. You will be pleased and see a change.

Oh I know how he feels. I am sure it will take just a few more times for you guys to go out and do those things before he is comfortable.

Everyone sweats. Tell him to buy a nice smelling deodorant and forget about it.

Try to make him feel like he did something right so he'll start to think hes good at it then he'll probably stop.

Do you always take things into your own hands after a first date? Your new boyfriend - and you just shared your first kiss????
