Yes. Without friendship, you wouldn't know each other at all, right? So when you take up the next level after friendship, you know each well and love to talk to each other. It's a great relationship builder and you'll feel more confident about your bf / gf and have tips in the future to become better at relationships.

Yes it is- most relationships that I have seen over the years, that TRULY last are ones where partners are your best friend and you would rather spend time with that person then anyone else in the world.
Even as you age- through difficult times that every marriage faces- you are stronger as a couple. That is because you miss your best friend and want to be able to make it work with them- because you not only truly like them as a person- you love them.

it can be. it is the best way to get to know a guy/girl you consider being in a relationship with. when you know who that person is, how they are, think, etc, there can be fewer surprises, usually.

yep i can tell you my partner and i are best friends and we've gor the best sex life coz we talk to eachother like we'd talk to our friends and be really open. we're getting married in 7 weeks
