im leaving to lake tahoe on the 7 of january 2007 for my honeymoon whut fun stuff is there to do, should i worry bout driving conditions, and any good websites for cabins or rooms for honeymooners????

the lake shore resort and spa, is a good place. Emerald Bay is beautiful, that's where my husband proposed to me, and we are going there next weekend. There are many things to do there, gambling, there is a glass bottom boat ride to Emerald Bay, there is the beach itself, to walk along. I love it there.

I lived in So. Lake Tahoe for 20 years. Everyone has weddings and honey moons here.
If you drive you must have chains during winter by law. If you rent a car make sure it is an SUV.
I suggest you shoot for a timeshare condo for lodging for the 2 of you. Look up Tahoe Beach and Ski, Four Seasons Resort, Americana Resort, and Tahoe Keys Resort (they also have regular vacation rentals - nice ones). Or try rustic cabins at Camp Richardson Resort (at the lake).
You can also get a suite at casinos if you prefer that: Harrahs, Montbleu, Horizons.
Lots of nice places to eat. Many are at casinos but also try Ernies for Breakfast (it is the local hot spot), The Red Tomato, and Mulligans and some of the buffets.
Fun things to do:
Take a dinner dance cruise on the Tahoe Queen paddle boat.
Ice Skate at the local rink
Ski at Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe or Kirkwood
Go on the Zephur Cove Snowmobile Adventure
Shopping at all the shops near the Casinos
Snow Play at Spooner Summit
Dancing at Neros in Montbleu Casino
Beer at Steemers and pool too
Tour around the Lake (one afternoon)
See Emerald Bay (if road is open)
