I recently bought a pc game (Caesar IV) which requires the october 2006 release version of directx 9.0c to run. But when I run the setup wizard of directx 9.0c, it appeared to be a message saying that the version I'm installing wasn't passed Windows Logo test and it failed to be installed. Can anyone give me a helpful answer to solve this problem?

If you have any old version of direct x installed you should uninstall it first.

You might have the pirated cd key. It might also be possible that you didn't have the latest updates to your windows. You need to turn your windows automatic updates on.
