Be yourself! Then you will be happy with the guy that you get to be with! I am absoutally in love with a girl in my school that wears preppy clothes, sometimes, she kinda mixes up what she wears... she plays soccer, softball, and is an AMAZING basketball. It depends on the guy though! If someone really likes you they will like you because of the way you act and how your personality is, not by the way you look or what sports you play!

Look up the word prep. You are not a prep because you dress like one, or act like one or anything like that.
Prep is a student at a college prepatory school. Prep is a term for the rich kids who can afford the prep schools. You, on the other hand, are not a prep, so don't worry what guys think of you.

Some schools are tolerated to any wear of the clothes,but others,are very strict even when you are a Muslim female,you cannot wear the head scarves.So that depends on the internal regulation of the concerned schools.

'real' preps dont play basketball.. strictly tennis, golf , water polo, etc..
i would have never dated a girl who was on the basketball team.

Its stereotypical to say that all guys do or don't like people on a basketball team. It depends, some probably do.
