This sounds like a multi-speed motor. The wiring should be something like this:

White - neutral
Black - high speed
Blue - medium speed (or low speed)
Red - low speed (or medium speed)
Green - ground
Brown - starting capacitor
Brown/white - other terminal of the starting capacitor

This is 7 conductors and works for a 3 speed motor. If you have six conductors, it might be a 2 speed motor.

The other option is that the motor is either a 110/220 VAC motor or it could be a reversible motor depending on how the wiring is connected.

The links below should be a help. I would guess that your motor is an induction motor.

REMEMBER that mis-wiring motor could cause damage. You could also expose yourself to dangerous voltages. Be careful. If you are uncertain, get qualified help.

Hi. Hard to say. Red is usually +V, black is usually ground. The others are probably to control fan speed. Look up the motor on the web by brand or model#.

placed the canines down. Then provide a decision to the AC employer. in case you will be able to desire to ask the question on an information superhighway communicate board, likelihood is you will be able to heavily harm your self or your electric/AC equipment jointly as attempting to repair it.
