I'm fourteen going on fifteen next month, about 93 pounds, and exactly five feet tall. I want to try to lose some weight (maybe not LOSE weight, but maintain it so I don't gain any, either), and I've been controlling food portions lately. Tonight was Friday, though, so I kind of pigged out on homemade enchiladas. I ate two small enchiladas, two spoonfuls of rice, and beans. Yet, when I was done with my plate, I kept eating more and more beans to the point where I was FULL. I usually try to eat till I'm satisfied. I'm sad now because I did that wrong. Tomorrow, I was planning to eat choco chip waffles to celebrate the weekend, but I don't know if I should anymore since I pigged out on the beans tonight. I just feel so guilty. What do I do? Eat waffles or not? Eat very little tomorrow or what?

Oh my, sweetie, you are way too young to be worrying about stuff like that! The weight you're at is a good weight for you, right now that is. As you get older, you will gain weight. It's simply because you develop more hips and breasts (I'm assuming you're a girl). Don't worry about stuff like that. Just make sure you eat HEALTHY! And stay active. A buff bod is better than a super skinny one.

Life is short. Eat the waffles. At 14 your burn it off way faster than you will in 10 years from now. Just eat the waffles and enjoy your teen years without a complex or eating disorder. Eat and then if you want to feel better...go for a 1/2 hour walk...roller blade...bike....work out. You will feel better.

You sound like a smart and sensible young person who is pretty detailed and caring about your diet. My eleven year old tells me that a lot of girls get overstressed about their gaining weight when they just need to exercise maybe a little more and not worry too much about exact food portions. Your body is growing and needing nourishment. Sometimes a little binge on something healthy like beans will not bother your weight much. You might be craving minerals if you don't take regular supplements (we take Solaray multiples). Don't worry. Be happy and go enjoy LIFE. Enjoy eating, but don't get too focused on it. I've heard that if you focus on portions, you'll probably want to eat more, since you're thinking too much about it. You are what you eat, and you know, you are what you think!! Think about it.

Don't worry about what already done is done, have your waffles just eat less of them or go do some extra activity to burn off the extra calories

You're 5 feet tall and weigh only 93 pounds, and you're almost 15? My dear, you have an eating disorder. It's called anorexia nervosa, and you need a doctor's help.
