My insurance company provides coverage for a tube-reversal to be done, would it be worth it?

a friend of mine got his girlfriend pregnant twice after her tubes were tied.

Yea, I guess but, getting a reversal just makes it harder for women like me to get them done! I don't think they should allow for reversals. You made a commitment now stick with it. Why not adopt one of the many unloved and uncared for children out there? There's no need to be selfish and insist on spawning yourself.

Friends and family members of mine have gone to this doctor and have had their tubes untied and yes they got pregnant within a year or so. Theirs were burnt/cut/tied and still they got pregnant.

The procedure they used that long ago is not favourable
to conceiving again. Make an appointment with your OB
and find out.

Even if you have the surgery it is not 100% that you can get pregnant so it would be a risk that you would have to be willing to take.
