Two of my cousins where killed yesterday in a car crash, their mother was the driver. The first one is my dads brothers daughter and the second is not blood related. My parents are also divorced.I am going to the funeral with my mother but I think I should sit with my dads side of the family.Neither side likes each other and there may be problems because of that and also because alot of people are blaming their mother for the accident. Both of my cousins were mothers of young children so it is a very difficult situation.Who should I sit with???

You should sit where your comfort is most needed.

This will be a very trying time for your family; people are angry, hurt and broken-hearted. Keep that in mind, people may say things they don't mean because of the great emotion of the times.

My condolences to you and your family.

Sit in the middle, just pull up a chair and sit right in the middle (im not kidding) or you just find someone that you like and sit next to em, it doesn't matter which side.

ok let me see if I understand this.. the young lady killed was your father's niece...then you need to be with him if the person killed was related to him. Why can't you go to the funeral with your dad? Why is your mom going to be there? I feel kinda lost and not much of a help, sorry.

since this is a funeral - sit with whom you like.... if anyone says anything, tell them to set aside the ill will and support each other in this time of grief....

Sit with who ever you want don't include yourself in that feud.
