I would rather fight over there than over here...
And fight we will...
WW3 with the Islamofaschist nations started on 9/11..
If we don't stop Iran from going nuclear, we will be fighting
a nuclear war within the US borders...
The liberals will not like a nuke going off in San Francisco...

Lets keep the troops over there because if we bring all of them home now it Will look like we are weak. That and I don't want the war to be over be fore I get a part of it.

i would bring them home. i'm in the military and my unit at fort bliss just left to go iraq. it is not fun saying goodbye all the time to ur family. we just came back from korea. for all u civilians that support the war, would u want to go? patroling the cities/compound on a normal night. get mortored and hear ur battle buddy, the one that has been with u since basic training screaming because they got hit. if u've never experienced this, u shouldn't have anything to say about the war.

I would say bring them home because that way Americans can show their apprieciation and grattitude, and the soldiers would get a break finally because you know Bush would never do that. If you don't end up bringing home the soldiers at some point, the next time you hear about them or see them, they will be dead, you would not even get a chance to say good bye, you would feel awful.

If we are talking about the current situation in the mideast, then in my opinion we need to begin pulling the troops out. It has reached a point where the US needs to allow those countries to supprt and rule themselves. Right now we are trying to control it and it can not be controlled by the US. We are losing more troops in fights that arent ares....we have been encouraged to pull out by numerous allies and we do not want to alienate them anymore than we already have. Nor do we need to lose any more innocent Americans.

If you mean the war that's going on now, bring them home, that's a no win deal over there. Our men and woman are dieing for nothing.

Let's be honest, no one wants to go to war. And most are still very young; 19-25. But, we ARE at war and most that I talk to feel they are trying to accomplish something and trying to make a difference. I often wonder if any get to read alot of this "crap" that everybody's saying against the war. I'm sure it makes them feel good to know that "everyone's" supporting them.

It's not weather I want to send troops off to war.. It is something that MUST be done.. If we don't fight those terrorist SOBs over there. We are going to have to fight them here.
