When I use my verizon yahoo browser my pc freezes when I click on a link that opens a new window. I dont have a virus or any adware or spyware, I ran a check for those with spybot and norton. Is there a way to find out what is wrong with my broswer and fix it. When I use a different broswer I dont have any problems.

I tried using Verizon / Yahoo Browser. and gave up on it. It just complicated everything it touched, was dependant on IE so had all of IE's problems, plus. I had lots of frustration trying to merge my old yahoo acct. with VERZon ?YAHOO account (couldn't be done) I use Firefoxs with IE as backup. Many fewer problems, fasyer, simpler, all the way around.. At this point, it is not worth it A TALL.

Sadly, there is no easy answer. Every computer has its own quirks. Unfortunately, trying to hunt down the problem is like chasing a wild goose. You can search and search and still not find the problem. Usually, the problem arises from a conflict between two or more programs. In cases like this, you are better off finding an alternative solution. Someone mentioned using another web browser and it is a good idea. You already know other browsers work fine.

I don't think that the problem is due to any virus, spyware or other malware. Malware are more destructive and malicious.
