hello,
I did actually date someone in a wheelchair...it didn't bother me at all but to me he was really insecure about it. He would always apologize to me for any inconveniences when we'd go out for ex:
I would have to get the wheelchair in and out of the trunk....
little things like that.
It didn't bother me at all, I really did like him as a person, and it could have possibly went further than that....but the whole apology and his own insecuritys grew very old on me....

I have never dated a man in a wheelchair and would not object to dating someone in a wheelchair. In my eyes, people are people and it wouldn't matter to me as long as you have a wonderful personality.

I don't see any problem with dating any one in a wheelchair, I haven't but I wouldn't mind. now if it's the sex then we will most likely be very creative in that department...... I say yes I would go out with someone in a wheelchair....

I haven't but definately have considered it. Have seen some real hotties, but just never been in the place to get to know them. I think its a little weird for us because we don't know the limitations, what happened, how it affects that person, etc. But I think that with time, just like everything else, once you get to know the person you don't notice that they have a big nose, or wierd hair or that they're in a wheelchair. They're just another person. So I guess my only advice is, whoever you're friends with or dating, give it time. Hopefully they will too.

I have never dated a guy in a wheelchair, but there are two confident guys on wheels in my neighbourhood who are VERY popular with the ladies. One is super good looking, and the other isn't, but he's a real charmer and very funny. Women love being round both of them and getting their attention - I'm pretty sure they could both get a date whenever they wanted.

I have never dated someone in a wheelchair, but i really don't think it sets you apart from someone else. If someone i knew, & liked was in a wheelchair, that wouldn't change how i felt about them, their still the same, weather on two feet, or two wheels!
~Hope that helped

no i haven't. and i think that it is probably intimidating to most women who aren't in some way physically handicapped. but its kind of intriguing, too! i like the things that make people different. i'm sure being in a relationship with a person in a wheelchair could be the same as having one with anyone else.
