Some just feel it is their duty to offer food and religious teaching at the same time, and see no harm. Some may figure that since they (non-Christians) are starving, their gods aren't any good, so they should convert them to a religion which will feed them physically.
Anyone who's hungry will lie to get food if necessary, so don't think all those people are really converting from what they've been taught for generations. Christians really don't seem to realize that though. It's nothing new though.

We do not. That used to happen, many centuries ago, but today Christianity has reformed and become an even better sect of religion. The majority of us don't force our religion on others, however you will come across a wacko or two. But we go to those undereducated, poorer countries because they may not find out about our religion otherwise.
Yes, we want to convert people but we're certainly not going to pull a Queen Isabella and start threatening or bribing people to convert to our religion.
I think you're being fed biased opinions and need to get a wider scope of our faith. I'm not saying that we don't have our quirks, but overall we're just doing this because we sincerely care. Our *religion* is sincere, it doesn't force itself on people. It's those who choose to force it that are the problem, and in that case they're not truly a Christian.

I think you need to find a Christian missionary organization and go see just what they do and ask them why they do what they do. I'll bet you will change your mind. Christians from the USA give more food, water and medical help to the poor in Africa and Asia that all the rest of the world put together. Check it out.
They would do even much more if they did not have to constantly fight Muslims, thieves and corrupt governments.

Because their standard of living takes such a quantum leap forward when they embrace Christianity. Because tribal warfare, which holds people back and destroys progress, disappears when people learn forgiveness and how to focus on something higher. Because it's better for them economically. It's just so much easier to do business with people who turn away from lying, stealing, killing, coveting, etc., and who are healthy, conscientious, sober and diligent. Because Christianity gives them a world view (that, incidently, is probably what you're objecting to, and fairly; the internet tends to corrupt their culture, too!) with hope and a future

What's Islam doing to help ou there with all the Oil riches of the middle east? AFrica is MOSTLY Islam and yet it's poor and people are dying, so I guess Islam is doing about as good a job as Christianity!

Because you are ignorant enough to believe this.
People become Christians because they want to be.
We just go over there an evangelize, they haven't even heard of God in the countries they're living in, but they make the final decision, you can't force someone to Christianity.

Christians encourage all peoples to become aware of the truth. That is the divine mission of the Church of God - to go forth and make disciples of all peoples. Financial and educational status have nothing to do with it.

you contradict your own question.
"encourage" is the key word here.
My wife witnesses and she still allows people to make a choice. No force is initiated, just a choice after the witness.
By the way, I can people make a choice if there isn't more than one option?

Yes it is just ignorance on their part because they do not respect others religious beliefs. Its the superiority disease. One should only give someone if they are seeking, but to go into cultures which are more spiritually advanced and try to convert them is just a lack of spiritual education on themselves. go to www.stephen-knapp.com world relief network

It is bringing a message of hope to those in need. That is all. You make it sound like brainwashing and extortion.
The world has a negative concept of Christians, and through mission work, these walls are broken down.
