also how do i explain the diference between catholic and pentecostal
i have been pentecostal for 4 years and i am 16 and when i am asked and i explain they laugh so how could i explain it to where i put them in there spot

My husband is and this is what saw in his church and my uncle in law is a pentecostal paster. They are closer to God then anyone i have ever seen. They prey and they be with him daily even when not preying. They go by what the bible says without a doubt and they try to teach you the best that they can. The women wear dresses bc it says in the bible that women should not pertain to men. I think they are much much closer to God then any other just because they Trust totally in him and they do not compermise there reltionship just because times have changed. The truely saved pentecostal people are wonderfull they try to help you and you see more of Gods light in them i think then in anyone i have met who is saved. I would just tell them to come to your church and talk with the preacher. They do talk in tounges i know that freaked me out at first but then i learned what it was about. I just would say they are not about the world they are truely about God and what his will is and they belive in that he can give them gifts which is totally true my grandma in law had a gift from God she would pray to him if you had a burn and it would go away.

They don't believe in the trinity which is a huge error. The second link is regarding onesness pentecostal. You can know if you are saved by taking the self test at the 3rd link.

Pentecostals are charismatic believers that believe that when slain in the Holy Spirit they can talk in tongues. Pentecostals do not believe in saints to pray to. Your ministers are allowed to marry. Catholics take the more conservative road to religion with religious rites, and use an additional book based on Catholicism. It teaches from the missing gospels of the Bible, and you go Catechism to learn about those missing teachings. Catholics also say the Rosary and pray to the Virgin Mary to interceed, and there are other saints as well. They also confess of their sins to the Father so he will bless them.

pentecostal is a full gospel believer.....that means they believe in all the gifts of the bible. That would be speaking in tongues, healings, slain in the spirit, ect. Basically they believe the spirit of God is powerfully moving still today.
