Your son is a man now. He chose his wife and if you love him, you need to respect that choice and learn to be friends with her. You may win her love by being nice but you'll never win her over by being a meddling, fault finding mother-in-law.

wow, I first would confront her, and find out way she is being mean to you and your son. because it isn't good to have ill feelings. If she doesn't answer you, she is just being mean, and you don't need to stand for it. So just stand your ground and be by your son's side. so I hope I helped. I could give you a long long lecture, but your a mom, and you know what to do. JUST PUT A STOP TO IT.

Whether your daughter-in-law is mean to her husband is none of your business.
If she is mean to you (and, assuming that you don't live in the same house), tell her that she can treat her husband as badly as he will tolerate, but she sure isn't going to treat you that way.

Tell her she crossing the boundaries of respect. Don't tolerate in your own home at least. Tell her to leave and she's welcome back when she can behave decently.
