I got to the gym 3-4 times a week. I tredmil for 1-2 miles, bike 5 miles and do 100 crunches. I have never needed to lose weight before but I just had a baby and I gained a lot of weight. If I am eating semi-healthy and drinking water- will I see results from this? I am 5/7 and 178 lbs.

If you really want to lose weight, make small, gradual changes and over time, they will have an extremely powerful effect on you.

What you're doing is fine as long as you're pushing yourself some. As your body improves, your routine must adjust.

Check out http://www.obesitykills.iconfessional.com . The guy there is an ex-Marine, like myself, and he's putting together a program for himself in his blog that will get him back into shape. It will work for pretty much anyone and he's doing it all publically.

He's not selling anything, just sharing what he's doing as he does it. He's hoping for encouragement and motivation from his readers.

If you are nursing then you should eat more calories. I would sugest going to a weight watchers meeting because I have joined wieght watchers and if you really stick to the plan then you can lose up to two pounds a week and still be really healthy. Good luck I know it is hard but try to stick to the plan., Oh, and congrats for your new and beautiful baby.

It all depends on how many calories you are eating.

For maximum fat loss you should eat 20% under your daily mainenance calorie level. Considering that you workout alot you need to factor in your activity level to eat the exact amount of calories every day.

You should exercise for 30 minutes per day to see results. As your body adjusts to that level of fitness, you will have to increase the intensity of your exercise. You also have to eat balanced healthy meals and drink lots of water. You should add flexibility exercises to your routine to add tone.

yes but it will take time just stay off the junk food and try working out with light wights
