I don't think it's US versus the world. Iran has a lot of enemies and is one of the bullies in this world. There are a lot of countries on the side of the US. As for US vs Iran, remember it was also Iran vs Iraq and Iran vs Israel, etc........

Iran is tweeking its' nose at the world because without the resources of the US, because we are bogged down in Iraq, no one is going to try and stop them making WMD, either for own use or to provide to terrorist to use against the free and christian people of the world.
