Could be a few things. First, look at what you eat, food is fuel for your body and if you put in junk, your body can't function properly. Too much sugar, salt and too many carbs can have an effect that renders you unable to think clearly. Do you get exercise? That get the blood flowing through the whole body, including the brain, and energizes you along with boosting your mood. If you get between 7-9 hours of restful sleep, you are doing well.

I have ADD and I have been off of my meds for almost a year now. I started two wonderful supplements, DMAE and Acetyl L-Carnitine. Both of these supplements increase the amount of free acetylcholine, which is the neurotransmitter involved in memory formation and cognition. THey are inexpensive and effective! In clinical trials ADD symptoms were reduced by 60 percent. In another study supplementation was found to raise IQ scores by as much as 10 points!

Have you had your level of B12 tested?
I had the same problem until I found out my levels of B12 were very low.
I'm not a doctor, but it seems an easy one to resolve. The test is a very easy blood test.
Hope you find out the problem.
